Incrementality Testing

Ad Platform Integrations

Push-Button Test Launch

Designing a rigorous geo test is only half the work — the design still has to be implemented in your ad platforms. Traditionally that means manually excluding dozens or hundreds of control regions from campaign targeting, and manually undoing every change when the test ends. Manual implementation is slow and error-prone, and a single missed exclusion or forgotten revert can contaminate the experiment and invalidate the results.

Maxma removes this step entirely. Connect your ad accounts, select the campaigns to test, and launch the experiment with a single click — Maxma applies the geo targeting changes for you, exactly as designed.

Automation does more than remove the operational burden — it protects the test itself. Maxma automatically checks that targeting changes stay aligned with the test design throughout the test, so the integrity of your results is guarded from launch to revert.

One Click In, One Click Out

Apply Changes excludes the control regions from your selected campaigns. When the test ends, Revert restores each campaign's original targeting from a snapshot taken before any changes — no manual cleanup.

Supported Platforms

Maxma can automatically launch and revert tests on:

  • Google Ads
  • Meta (Facebook) Ads
  • TikTok Ads
  • Pinterest Ads
  • ChatGPT Ads (OpenAI)

US campaigns only for now.

Test on ChatGPT Ads from Day One

Maxma supports OpenAI's ChatGPT Ads as a first-class channel. As advertising budgets shift toward AI platforms, you can measure their true incremental impact with the same rigor as your established channels.

Multi-Channel Experiments

A geo test doesn't have to be limited to a single channel. A test can include multiple platforms, campaigns, and ad groups, and one Apply Changes click launches it everywhere at once — so you can measure the combined incremental impact of a cross-channel campaign in a single experiment.

How Automatic Launch Works

  1. Connect your ad accounts under Integrations.
  2. Select campaigns for the test — Maxma pulls your accounts and campaigns directly from each platform.
  3. Apply Changes — Maxma snapshots current targeting, then excludes the control regions from each campaign. Campaigns that target the whole US are automatically converted to explicit region targeting minus the control regions.
  4. Run the test — avoid making budget or geo changes to the campaigns while the experiment is live.
  5. Revert — when the test concludes, one click restores the original targeting from the snapshot.

Manual Launch Still Available

Running on a platform we don't integrate with yet, or testing offline channels like TV or out-of-home? Maxma generates a precise experiment specification (test regions, control regions, budget, duration) that you or your agency can implement manually — the measurement works the same way.
